The manufacturer says that it is accurate to �2% on O2 and �2 beats on pulse. I run with a rescue squad and checked against our $300 pulse Ox. It is within tollerances. It works fine while walking or mild exercise--like a stationary bike. But it will come off of your finger if you try to use it during vigorous exercise. It works better on the middle finger than the first and if you have long nails it may read inaccurately or marginally.

My sister was recovering from pneumonia, she was in the hospital for about a month. We bought to check her blood/oxygen content at home. When I recieved this new oximeter I took it to the hospital & compared it to the theirs. The readings were same.

This is exactly what my doctor told me to order. It has all the features of my doctor oximeter. I compared readings 5 times with hospital oximeter and every time it was accurate. Now I can check my readings at home and know when to take oxygen.
